Bioprocess Control offers two types of data loggers as well as several in-line sensors, and electronic accessories. All are frequently required for setting up an automated laboratory- or small pilot-scale process monitoring system. The high quality of the online data obtained from these sensors and data loggers allows users to gain a better understanding of their fermentation processes, which results in a better process design and an optimised control of process.

Designed for real-time monitoring

The µFlow Data logger and the Universal Data Logger are supplied with two different data acquisition software.

The µFlow Data Logger comes with a computer-based software application that is specifically designed for the monitoring and logging any gas measured by the maximum of eight µFlows, or from any other in-line gas flow meter with a 4-20 mA signal output. It allows users to have a direct visualization of any variations in gas flow. Users can set-up an experiment, monitor its progress and download results with little effort. Moreover, all data is in a format that allows for easy analysis.

The configuration of the µFlow software application allows users to define the measurement scale of flow rate and supports real-time data acquisition up to eight channels. For each channel, the current flow rate is displayed (based upon the mean value over the last minute).

The Universal Data Logger has a computer-based software application that is designed for logging both active and passive analogue signals from different in-line sensors for gas flow, pH/ORP, gas composition, etc. Users can easily set up an automated process monitoring system with several different types of in-line sensors. Users can define and customise measurement scale for each type of process parameter. The software support maximum of five different types of process parameters and up to eight independent measuring channels.

Software licences for the µFlow Data logger and Universal Data Logger are included when data logger hardware being purchased.

See your experiment in real-time

The graph feature lets users visualise their experiment in real-time. Users can easily monitor the flow rate using µFlow Data logger and up to five different types of process parameters with the Universal Data Logger, e.g. gas flow, pH, temperature, gas composition and user-defined signal. Moreover, gas flow measurements taken using a µFlow are automatically normalised to 1 atm and 0 °C with real-time temperature and pressure compensation.

This flexibility and precision allow users to always know the status of an experiment, as well as trust the data being produced.
