Old BioReactor Simulator cloud application will close down

Please note that this message only concerns BioReactor Simulator (BRS) users that access their instrument using the URL https://simulator.bioprocesscontrol.com

After the 30th of September, 2021 the above mentioned application will close down and it will no longer be possible to use it. In order to have a working instrument after this date, you will have to migrate your instrument to the new BRS cloud platform that is accessed via https://unity.bioprocesscontrol.com. This migration is free of charge but require that you contact us to assist you with it.

If you are interested in migrating your instrument, please send an e-mail marked BRS migration to support@bioprocesscontrol.com with the following information:

  • Serial number of your instrument. It is a 16 digit number (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) that can be found on the sticker at the back of your instrument
  • What e-mail you are using to login to the instrument
  • A photo of the back of your instrument; showing the connections and sticker
  • A photo taken from the top of the detection unit showing the green flow cells

Once we receive your e-mail we will come back to you with instructions on how to move forward with the migration.

Please note that no existing or historical data will be transferred along with the migration to the new cloud platform. Thus, in order not to lose any data please make sure to download all reports that you need before the 30th of September, 2021 (your old user account and data will still be accessible until this date even if you have already migrated).

Already now we want to encourage you take a look at the network requirements for the new BRS application. Please also have a look at its user interface description to get more familiar with how to use it.
