Process Monitoring

Online and real-time process monitoring made easy

Process Monitoring

Choose from two types of data loggers, several in-line sensors and electronic accessories for setting up automated laboratory or pilot-scale process monitoring systems. Our high-quality instruments offer possibility for a better understanding of fermentation processes, resulting in better process design and optimised process control.

Process monitoring offers you:
  • Less labour demand
  • Standardised data handling for easier comparison
  • Plug-and-play and easy to operate
  • Flexible and modular; designed to fit individual demands

Software

Designed for real-time monitoring

The µFlow Data Logger and the Universal Data Logger are supplied with two types of different data acquisition software.

The µFlow Data Logger comes with a computer-based software application specifically designed for monitoring and logging any gas measured by a maximum of eight µFlows, or from any other in-line gas flow meter with a 4-20 mA signal output. You get a direct visualisation of any variations in gas flow. Set up an experiment, monitor its progress and download results with little effort. All data is in a format that allows for easy analysis.

You can define the measurement scale of flow rate and acquire real-time data in up to eight channels. The current flow rate is displayed for each channel (based upon the mean value over the last minute).

The Universal Data Logger has a software application designed for logging active and passive analog signals from different in-line sensors for gas flow, pH/ORP, gas composition, etc. Set up an automated process monitoring system with several different types of in-line sensors, and define and customise measurement scale for each type of process parameter. The software supports up to five different types of process parameters and up to eight independent measuring channels.

Software licences for the µFlow Data Logger and Universal Data Logger are included with data logger hardware.

What people say

We bought six CSTR-5S reactors, six µflow gas flow meters and one data logger for our pilot-scale experiments on anaerobic digestion of biowaste... All instruments are very easy to handle. We can easily set up an automatic feeding and discharging system which minimises the labour-demand for the experiment follow-up… The design of gas, liquid and solid in/outlets are suitable for our experimental needs. No blockage issue has ever been experienced. We are fully satisfied by Bioprocess Control's pilot scale solution, it earns us some envious looks from colleagues 🙂
